Oracle's North America consultants were using outdated, difficult-to-edit Word-based resumes that hampered their marketability to third-party clients and limited project acquisition opportunities. These client-facing profiles are used by external Oracle clients to browse and source consulting projects, making professional presentation critical to business revenue. Initial attempts to modernize the visual design failed to address the fundamental usability issues, as consultants struggled to customize their information without breaking formatting.
As Experience Design Lead, I led the team that conceived and delivered a complete zero-to-one product development, taking what began as a simple visual refresh request and developing it into a strategic digital solution from concept through launch. This client-facing application enables third-party Oracle clients to browse consultant profiles and source consulting projects, making consultant marketability directly tied to business revenue. I led the research effort, secured executive buy-in by demonstrating clear ROI, assembled a cross-functional team, and established the product vision while guiding implementation from initial ideation to market deployment.
